Anthony & Kriscinda

July 31, 2012

When you hear the phrase “backyard wedding,” you never really know what to expect. Luckily, these guys know how to do it up right, and put together a day best described as “totally bitchin'”

Kriscinda’s mother made her dress. Like from scratch. Like with her own two hands.

This is Spook. He makes cameos in all of their vacation photos, popped in for their engagement session, and took a break from his busy modeling career to serve as ring bearer.

Jess Kelley got to hang out with the boys before the ceremony, and took this shot.

Another from the lovely Jess Kelley.

They even had bodyguards.

Most of their toasts had me tearing up, too.

A friend made this cake topper of the happy couple, Moggy, and Spook.

Some people might think you can’t dance to death metal. Those people are wrong.

One Frame. Kind of.

I had to go and learn how to make an animated gif just for this. I think it was a good use of my time.

Wow, have things gotten hectic around here. Wedding season is in full swing, WMC Fest is coming up, and I just got a new machine so that I can edit your photos EVEN FASTER.

First up, meet Anthony & Kriscinda.

They were so much fun to hang out with, and are absolutely bonkers about each other. We got a few shots in their backyard (“Yeah, we have photo shoots in our backyard like… ALL the time.”) I’ve had several couples ask to take some photos with their dog, but this is the first that wanted some with their cat. As you can see, she’s totally psyched to be involved.

I have serious jacket envy.

We moved on to a local cemetery where they like to walk after that, and got some great sun flare.

I mentioned that this was pretty close to Chatham, where I’d gone to grad school, and found out that Kriscinda had graduated from there as well. Small world, eh?
