Caroline Moore

I got into photography as a kid, after my dad picked up a Minolta 3000i. Maybe that’s a little too far back. I got into photography, professionally, around 2007.

I’ve wanted to be a photographer since I found out that it was an option. I love photos. I love making them, I love looking at them, but the very best part of my job is the people. I get to meet such awesome folks thanks to this camera. As much as I love to shoot all the great details of your wedding, it’s people that I’m focused on. Your dad dancing to “Soulja Boy” at the reception. That teary eyed hug after your maid of honor’s toast. Your pre-ceremony bridal party shenanigans. That’s the stuff you want to remember.

My name is Caroline Moore, and I’m a wedding and portrait photographer from Brownsville, PA. If you’re not familiar, I’m about halfway between Pittsburgh (PA) and Morgantown (WV). Have camera, will travel. In addition to weddings, I really love to shoot live music, and portraits of all kinds. I’m always looking for interesting ways to photograph people, and interesting people to photograph.

When I’m not taking photos, I’m into big headphones, East Bay punk rock, and wearing too much eyeliner. I love design, and am always working on side projects. When I have a spare minute, I’m watching hockey or playing the fiddle for the Washington Symphony Orchestra. I’ve been married since 2007, to a dude I met in high school. He’s the Calvin to my Hobbes.

It’s hard to choose the right photographer when you’re looking at a sea of strangers. I use the blog, and a few social media sites, as a way for you to get to know me better.
